When will my order ship?
We are usually able to ship orders out within 48 hours. During the Christmas season, we experience an unusually high volume of orders, and sometimes it may take a bit longer. For a more accurate estimate of when your order will ship, check the estimated shipping date shown in the shopping cart.
What will it cost to ship my order?
For shipments within the contiguous 48 states, your shipping charge will depend on the total cost of your order. The table below shows

Orders to HI, AK, Puerto Rico, APO, FPO and out of the United States, shipping charges will be based on actual costs and charged accordingly
When I try to create an account, the website tells me that the email address already exists, why is that?
At some point, you probably gave us your email address, and the data base knows this. Just click "forgot password" and the system will email you a temporary password. With this you can login and change the password to one of your choosing.
How long will it take to receive my order?
The transit time for your order depends, of course, on how far you are from our store. Once your order leaves, transit time can be 1 - 6 business days.
How will my email address be used?
We value your privacy and your time. Your email address will only be used to send you an automated notice of when your order is placed and shipped, to contact you in the event of a question on your order, and only occassionally with news and/or specials.
May I place an order to be picked up?
If you know you are going to be in our area, and would like to save on shipping charges, you are welcome to place an order to be picked up. We would love to have you stop in and enjoy a free cup of coffee with us. We will need your information, the name of the person who will pick up the product, and your credit card will be charged at the time the order is placed.
Why are some of your products unavailable at times?
We do our best to always keep all of our products in stock. However, due to import regulations and inconsistent importing times, we are not always able to keep all items in stock at all times.
Can I stop in and shop at The Dutch Store?
Of course we love the idea that our mail order customers from across the country stop in and shop at our store. Our friendly and helpful staff will always welcome you, and there is always a free cup of coffee waiting for you. We try to make our store truly gezellig.
Can you ship kroketten, fish, and other perishable items?
We will ship any of these products to you at your discretion. However, due to warm weather or shipping times, we do not ensure that these products will arrive in good condition. All perishable items will be shipped with an ice pack, and air shipments are available for an additional cost if you choose.
